Skincare FAQs
Pre-Care Questions
Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
Yes, you can come as you are. We will cleanse your skin at the start.
Should I stop using retinol or active products?
Ideally, you would want to avoid Retinol, Tretinoin, AHAs/BHAs such as glycolic acid and salicylic acid, and Benzoyl Peroxide 3 to 5 days before coming in for your facial to avoid irritation.
What if I do not know which facial is best for my skin type?
If you are unsure of which facial to book, we recommend booking a “Signature Facial” and putting in the notes that you are not sure which to book. A consultation with your esthetician will help determine the best treatment for you, depending on your needs, concerns, allergies, and budget.
